CSA signs collaboration with TRM Labs to boost AI blockchain security
The goal is to connect on-chain and off-chain adversary activity better and disrupt threat actors more effectively.
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MOC) with U.S.-based blockchain intelligence firm TRM Labs to enhance the nation’s cyber resilience using AI-powered blockchain analytics.
Under the partnership, CSA will gain access to TRM’s blockchain intelligence platform, including its generative and reasoning AI features. In turn, TRM will provide data and technical expertise to co-develop capabilities tailored to CSA’s long-term operational needs.
A key area of focus is ransomware. The two parties plan to explore the use of agentic-AI blockchain tracing tools to track Singapore’s national exposure to ransomware threats.
The goal is to connect on-chain and off-chain adversary activity better and disrupt threat actors more effectively.
Planned outcomes include building scalable, data-driven tools to support investigations, threat hunting, and real-time risk response.
