Meta appoints Nicole Tan as new country director for Singapore

Her appointment will take effect on 2 June.

Meta has appointed Nicole Tan as its new country director for Singapore, effective 2 June.

Tan brings over 25 years of industry experience with a strong track record in business leadership, strategic growth, and community engagement.

Tan will join the Singapore team after leading Meta’s operations in Malaysia for nine years. As country director, she will drive digital innovation and AI adoption to support business growth and Singapore’s digital economy.

Before joining Meta, Tan held senior business leadership roles in Malaysia and China.

“I’m confident that her experience and inclusive approach will provide strong leadership in shaping our next chapter in Singapore – an important hub for innovation and regional collaboration,” Benjamin Joe, vice president for Southeast Asia and Emerging Markets at Meta said.
