Singtel, Palo Alto launch two new cybersecurity solutions
These are designed to help consumers and businesses.
Singtel has launched two new solutions, developed in partnership with Palo Alto Networks, to help consumers and businesses strengthen their cybersecurity.
Singtel’s Unified Secure Access Service Edge Convergence (Unified SASE Convergence) leverages the power of Precision artificial intelligence, combining Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) and SIM-based authentication.
The system helps enterprises verify a user’s identity and internet of things (IoT) devices connected to Singtel’s network.
Presently, many of these devices do not support end-point security software which presents a vulnerability for both consumers and businesses.
Singtel has also expanded its pioneering 5G Security-as-a-Slice (SecaaS) capabilities with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall to protect roaming customers from foreign network vulnerabilities, surveillance risks, and hacking attempts.
By employing SecaaS and AI, the telco can identify, analyse, and block scam or phishing websites, applications, and emails from unsecured sources.
