STT GDC, Alibaba Cloud, NTUC to support 1,000 AI users

The initiative will provide AI tools, training, and implementation support for enterprises, developers, and students.

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) has partnered with Alibaba Cloud and Tech Talent Assembly, an affiliated association under the National Trades Union Congress, to support generative and agentic artificial intelligence adoption in Singapore.

The initiative will support up to 1,000 enterprises, developers, and students with access to advanced AI tools, structured training, and practical implementation support.

The partnership aims to help businesses and workers move from AI experimentation to real-world deployment.

Participants will gain access to enterprise-grade AI tools, including Qwen and Wan for generative AI and multimodal use cases, as well as Qoder and QoderWork for workflow automation, software, and knowledge applications.

The programme will also provide hands-on workshops and guided implementation support to help participants apply AI across business functions such as operations, software development, knowledge work, and customer engagement.

STT GDC will offer an online AI infrastructure readiness assessment to help organisations benchmark their preparedness, identify priority areas, and receive a customised report with practical next steps.

The initiative will focus on small and medium enterprises and workers, particularly those facing resource and capability constraints in adopting AI.

The programme will begin in June 2026, with onboarding of participating enterprises, developers, and students to follow shortly after.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
