AEM posts 71.4% QoQ net profit drop in Q1

Net profit fell from $11.7m to $3.3m.

AEM Holdings (AEM) posted a 71.4% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) drop in net profit from $11.7m to $3.3m in Q12025.

Revenue for the period fell 35.1% QoQ to $86.0m from $132.6m in Q4 2024.

This decline was due to the pull-in of orders by one of the group’s customers from FY2025 into H2 2024.

This was partially offset by high volume manufacturing at its major new Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) / High-Performance Compute (“HPC”) anchor customer.

AEM’s Test Cell Solutions (TCS) received twice as many customers compared to the previous quarter, following its deployment of the automated burn-in system AMPS-BI).

The AMPS-BI system received customer acceptance, with multiple units transitioned into volume production.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
