The group has appointed Linda Hoon Siew Kin as the independent director.

Far East Group Limited has established a board sustainability committee, it announced in a bourse filing.

The committee will oversee the group's sustainability framework, reporting, and environmental, social, and governance matters relevant to the company's businesses and subsidiaries.

The group has appointed Linda Hoon Siew Kin as the committee's independent director. Other members include Executive DIrector and CEO Loh Mun Yew and CFO Francis Lai Kum Wai.
