The Made in Singapore and Designed in Singapore Awards are now open for nominations

Nominations will close on 30 August 2019.

On their third year, Singapore Business Review’s Made in Singapore Awards and Designed in Singapore Awards are back to recognise new and innovative products from across several industries in Singapore.

Both awards are open to all Singapore-registered local and international manufacturing firms that produce game-changing business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) products.

Products manufactured in Singapore can be nominated for the Made in Singapore Awards, whilst products conceptualised by a Singapore-based office but manufactured outside the country can be nominated for the Designed in Singapore Awards.

Past winners of the awards include Coca-Cola, Biosensors Interventional Technologies Pte Ltd, Indoguna (Singapore) Pte Ltd, and Akribis Systems Pte Ltd.

“This is a prestigious honour for us, primarily because for the two designs that we’ve submitted for [the awards], it’s a first for us to be doing it from here. It’s quite special for us whenever we create a new Coke design. It evokes a sense of passion for collection all over the world. People collect these designs and obviously it’s memorialised in history. So, I feel very proud and grateful to have been part of this, hopeful a small part of Coke history in the future,” said Lim Kean Yew, Integrated Marketing Communications Director Singapore & Malaysia of Coca-Cola Far East Ltd.

A panel of industry experts will judge the products based on branding, unique selling points, product effectivity, and customer satisfaction.

Nomination period is open until 30 August 2019. Winners will be honoured at the awarding ceremony on 28 November 2019 in Singapore.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
