Malaysia trading hits record high

The bourse closed at 1675.69, thanks to some last minute buying interest.

OCBC Treasury Research noted:

Another session and another record-high for the KLCI, as the bourse closed at 1675.69, prompted by some last minute buying interest in the market. Strong gains overnight in Wall Street are likely to prop up sentiment into the weekend, ahead of the string of data due next week from Malaysia as well as the BNM rate decision. Near-term support is now seen at the 1660 mark.
