Vertex names Dilhan chairman as FY2025 profit tops $127.3m

Board change follows strong exits and listing momentum.

Vertex Holdings has appointed Temasek Holdings CEO Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara as chairman with effect from 15 April, as the venture capital group reported FY2025 profit of more than $127.3m (US$100m).

The Singapore-based company said outgoing chairman Teo Ming Kian and deputy chairman Lee Kheng Nam will retire from the board as Temasek seeks greater synergies across its funding platforms.

Vertex said the FY2025 result was driven by portfolio performance, capital discipline, and value realisation across market cycles, with private market exits including EyeBio’s sale to Merck for up to $3.8b (US$3b) and Salesforce’s acquisition of Own Company for $2.7b (US$2.1b).

It also cited public market gains from Geek+, which was listed in 2025 with about $3.6b (US$2.8b) in market capitalisation and later peaked at around $6.4b (US$5b), and Horizon Robotics, whose market value grew to about $16.5b (US$13b) as of early April 2026, up from about $8.5b (US$6.7b) at listing in 2024.

Looking ahead, Vertex said at least five portfolio companies are at advanced stages of market readiness and may pursue listings over the next 12 months across exchanges, including Hong Kong, Nasdaq, the New York Stock Exchange, India, and mainland China.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
