When travelling returned, mobile users in Singapore turned to apps offering transportation services, with over 1,219,000 number of downloads recorded in Q4 2022, data.ai, said.

Followed by integrated travel service with 495,000, airline apps with 283,000, and rail & coach booking with 168,000.

In terms of download growth, rail & coach booking apps were the highest with 178% growth between 2019 and 2022.

Amongst airline apps, AirAsia had the most downloads. Next is Scoot and SQ mobile.
