Bank of International Settlements names new head of SG innovation hub

Their appointment is effective from 1 October.

Maha El Dimachki has been appointed as the new head of Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Innovation Hub’s Singapore centre.

Her appointment is effective from 1 October.

Dimachki is the head of early and high growth oversight at the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). She leads a team that offers supervisory support for start-up firms.

Prior to this role, Dimachki held key positions in the FCA's payments department and served as the chief payments officer of Pay.UK, which operates the country's retail interbank payment systems. Additionally, she has held senior positions in commercial banks.
