Bank of Singapore appoints OCBC veteran as global CFO

Collins Chin worked at OCBC for over 16 years before taking on this new role.

Bank of Singapore has appointed Collins Chin as global chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Chin was previously head of investor relations at Bank of Singapore’s parent company Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC). He first joined OCBC in 2009 as head of group financial and management reporting. In 2013, he became its head of investor relations.

Chin will be a member of the bank’s global management committee.

Prior to joining OCBC, Chin worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Chartered Bank, and Barclays Capital.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a chartered accountant of Australia and New Zealand.
