The tool will provide recommendations and access to a relationship manager.

HSBC has enhanced its Premier offering in Singapore and Hong Kong, delivering wealth management, health protection, international services, and lifestyle privileges to the bank’s wealth and personal banking (WPB) clients.

The roll-out includes a new ‘Future Planner’ tool allowing customers to set, track, and customise financial goals. The tool will provide actionable recommendations and access to a relationship manager for expert guidance, HSBC said in a press release.

Premier customers will be given discounted virtual doctor consultations, complimentary insurance, health check-ups, and mental health support.

Users of the HSBC Premier Mastercard credit card is offered airport lounge access, limousine rides, concierge services, and bespoke dining and entertainment offers.

The enhancements will launch in Singapore and in Hong Kong on 1 October 2024 and will progressively launch in the UK in November.

Premier customers make up $412b of HSBC’s retail invested assets as of June 2024, the bank said.

The mass affluent segment, making up 40% of global wealth and 11% of the global population, represents a “strategically important” segment for HSBC Wealth and Personal Banking, the bank said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
