Altura EC sells 88% of its units in second balloting

The average price of units is $1,470 per sq ft.

Altura Executive Condominium (EC) sold 88% of its units during its second-timer balloting event.

Following its second balloting, the 360-unit development now only has 45 units left for sale. The remaining units are mostly 4- and 5-bedroom with flexible configurations.

Qingjian Realty and Santarli Realty –- the developers of the Altura –- attributed the successful sales to several factors, including the recent surge in land bid prices for the Government Land Sales (GLS) Plantation Close EC plot.

Real estate experts also attributed the success of Alutra EC to strong interest from HDB upgraders.

"The strong demand for Altura among second-timers is not unexpected, as executive condos remain a compelling option for HDB upgraders given their more affordable pricing and potential for decent capital appreciation in the future,” Ismail Gafoor, PropNex CEO said.

Marcus Chu, ERA Singapore’s CEO, said Alutra EC’s proximity to Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), which will move to Tengah.

“The school will sit within the 1 km radius of Altura,” Chu commented.

Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia, shared a similar sentiment saying the development’s proximity to future Tengah Integrated Transport Hub and ACS (P) likely attracted buyers.
