Chart of the Day: Expect 12,681 private homes next year

Around 4,500 units are executive condominiums.

This chart from the Urban Redevelopment Authority shows how many private residential units will be up for grabs in the coming years.

Based on the expected completion dates reported by developers, 9,415 units, including executive condominiums, will be completed in the second half of 2017. Another 12,681 units, including ECs, will be completed in 2018.

For 2019, there is a total of 9,824 private home units expected to be completed. Meanwhile, there are already 6,470 initial private home units slated to be completed in 2020.
