COTD: More than one in three Singaporeans eye City Fringe stays

Preference for the Central Region also increased to 15%.

More than one in three (36%) Singaporeans foresee themselves staying in the City Fringe, a 24% year-on-year increase, according to an ERA Research and Market Intelligence report.

Preference for the Central Region also increased slightly from 9% in 2024 to 15% in 2025.

Conversely, the East and North-East regions saw a drop in preference, down to 16% and 12%, respectively.

Preferences for the West and North Region also declined to 14% and 7%, respectively, during the year.
