Daiwa House Industry (DHI) reported a 9.5% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit for FY2024 to $2.08m (¥237b).
Basic income per share stood at $3.24 (¥372.48).
Net sales from its Single-Family Houses and Rental Housing Business segment rose by 14.8% YoY to $6.7m (¥767b) and 6.7% YoY to $8.5m (¥968b), respectively.
Its Commercial Facilities and Logistics, Business & Corporate Facilities Business segments also rose by 5.3% YoY to $1.7m (¥194b) and by 12.6% YoY to $9.5m (¥1.08t), respectively.
Meanwhile, net sales from its Condominiums and Environment and Energy business segments dropped by 33.9% YoY to $1.7m (¥194b) and by 10.9% YoY to $822,170 (¥94b), respectively.
The company is forecasting a dividend per share of $0.0068 (¥77.00) for FY2025 ending on 31 March, down from $1.29 (¥147) a year ago.
