Developers’ sales volume to hit below the 1000-unit mark in December

According to PropNex, with the year-end festivities and holiday season kicking in, new home sales are expected to ease from the monthly average of 1,149 units for October and November. Barring any unforeseen shocks, developers’ sales volume is expected to come in at under 1,000 units to close the year with a primary home sales volume of between 15,000 to 16,000 units.

Although market activity has evidently slowed since the imposition of the Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR) and the various cooling measures, projects such as Duo Residences and Alex Residences performed well nonetheless – indicating that selected projects which are reasonably priced and well located will continue to find favour with homebuyers.
