GuocoLand, CDL place top bids for Lentor Central, Champions Way sites

Tenders for both land parcels closed on 12 September.

GuocoLand and CDL had the highest bids for the land parcels at  Lentor Central and Champions Way, respectively.

Data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) showed that CDL put in a $259.89m bid for the Champions Way site, whilst GuocoLand’s consortium with Hong Leong Holdings and CSC Land Group placed a $435.17m bid for the Lentor Central site.

URA, however, clarified that it has yet to decide on whom it will award the tender to.

“ A decision on the award of the tender will be made after the bids have been evaluated. This will be publicised at a later date,” URA announced.

URA launched the public tender for the Lentor Central and Champions Way sites on 12 April and 25 May, respectively.

Both sites are for residential development and have a lease period of 99 years.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
