HDB launches largest supply of BTO flats since 2002

A total of 3,185 new flats are offered, comprising of 105 units of 2-room, 541 units of 3-room, 1,797 units of 4-room and 742 units of 5-room flats.

According to HDB, at least 95% of the public flat supply will be set aside for First-Timer households.

The BTO Flats will be in Hougang, Sembawang, Sengkang and Punggol.

Anchorvale Cove

Bounded by Anchorvale Street and Anchorvale Crescent, Anchorvale Cove is located next to Farmway LRT Station. It is a premium project with 1,011 flats, comprising 218 units of 3-room, 463 units of 4-room and 330 units of 5-room flats. A Residents’ Committee Centre and a childcare centre will be provided at this development.

Residents of Anchorvale Cove can look forward to many recreational choices, including the Sengkang Riverside Park, Sengkang Sports & Recreation Centre, and Anchorvale Community Club located nearby. Within Sengkang Town, residents can enjoy a wide range of facilities such as the Sengkang MRT/LRT station, bus interchange, Fernvale Point, Compass Point, Rivervale Mall, and Rivervale Plaza. There are primary and secondary schools in the area, and the Tampines Expressway is a short drive away.

Hougang Parkview

Hougang Parkview is bounded by Sungei Pinang to its North, Punggol Park to its West and Upper Serangoon Crescent along its Southern edge where the precinct's main entrance will be sited. It is a standard project with 792 flats, comprising 98 units of 3-room, 528 units of 4-room and 166 units of 5-room flats. There will be a Residents’ Committee Centre and a childcare centre at this development. Hougang Parkview is also easily accessible by bus to the Hougang Town Centre, where the Hougang MRT station, bus interchange, Hougang Plaza, and Hougang Mall are located.

Montreal Ville

Bounded by Montreal Link and Sembawang Road, Montreal Ville is located next to Sembawang Community Club and near Montreal Green, a neighbourhood park. It is a standard project with 578 flats, comprising 105 units of 2-room, 107 units of 3-room and 366 units of 4-room flats. Residents will be well served by the wide range of facilities in Sembawang Town such as the Sembawang MRT Station, bus interchange, Sembawang Mart with NTUC and wet market, Sun Plaza and Sembawang Shopping Centre, as well as several schools. It is accessible via the major expressways such as the Seletar Expressway (SLE).

Waterway Terraces II

Waterway Terraces, the waterfront project designed by Group8asia and Aedas along the Punggol Waterway, received overwhelming response when it was launched for sale in Jun 2010. HDB is now launching Waterway Terraces II, a project mirroring the design of Waterway Terraces onto the site located on the opposite bank.

Waterway Terraces II is bounded by Punggol Walk, Punggol Way and Sumang Link. It is a premium project with 804 flats, comprising 118 units of 3-room, 440 units of 4-room and 246 units of 5-room flats. The development enjoys a prime location along “My Waterway@Punggol”, and is located close to Punggol MRT/LRT station, bus interchange and the proposed Town Centre. The Tampines Expressway is also a short drive away. In line with HDB’s plans to develop Punggol as an Eco-Town, Waterway Terraces II  has also obtained the Green Mark Platinum Award by incorporating eco-friendly features in its building design.

Pricing of new flats at Montreal Ville, Hougang Parkview, Anchorvale Cove and Waterway Terraces II

New HDB flats are priced with a generous subsidy below their market values. The market values, as determined by professional valuers, take into account the prices of comparable resale flats in the area, adjusted for factors such as location, flat attributes, design, availability of flats for occupation and prevailing market conditions.

In addition, eligible first-timer applicants earning not more than $5,000 per month can apply for the Additional CPF Housing Grant (AHG) of up to $40,000. The AHG can be used to offset the initial down-payment.

Over and above the AHG, eligible first-timers applicants earning not more than $2,250 per month can also apply for the Special CPF Housing Grant (SHG) of up to $20,000 if they are applying to buy a 2-room or 3-room standard flat in Montreal Ville or a 3-room standard flat in Hougang Parkview.
