Property sales down 6.7% in 1Q 2011

Sales totalled 3,701 units compared to 3,965 units sold in 4Q 2010.

According to Colliers International, developers launched a total of 4,202 units in 1Q 2011, down 7.1% from the 4,522 units launched in 4Q 2010.

Similar to the past two quarters, projects in the OCR continued to dominate activiy, accouning for 53.2% of overall sales during the quarter.
