Changi Airport trials e-voucher assurance for travellers with delayed flights

They can get $10 e-vouchers through Changi App if their departing flight is delayed by three hours.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) unveiled FlightSaver Assurance, a trial programme on the Changi App that gives travellers $10 worth of e-vouchers for airport use when their departure time from Singapore is delayed by three hours or more.

Travellers who opt for FlightSaver Assurance and experience flight delays will have the e-vouchers credited to their in-app accounts.

The credits are valid for 30 days and can be used once a month. The trial runs until 30 September 2026.

The e-vouchers can be used at participating outlets in the transit areas of Changi Airport.

The app is the first airport app globally to offer both real-time overseas airport information and an opt-in flight-delay assurance programme, CAG said.

With the app, travellers can also access gate and baggage belt assignments at Changi and at their destinations, live flight tracking, and weather information.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
