City Square Mall's $50m upgrade set for 2025 completion

Enhancement activities began during the third quarter of 2023.

City Square Mall is set to reveal its new look once it completes its $50m asset enhancement initiative (AEI) in the first half of 2025.

The AEI includes adding around 26,000 sq. ft. of gross floor area (GFA) intended for the creation of a food haven at level 4 and a food court at basement 3.

New retail spaces will be available as well through the extension of slabs at the atriums from level 2 to level 4.

The enhancement also aims to modernise the 15-year old mall’s interiors, whilst adding community-based initiatives and sustainable features.

The mall continues to remain open throughout the duration of the AEI with signages and temporary directories available to redirect shoppers from areas undergoing renovation.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
