Strong pawnbroking segment seen lifting MoneyMax net profit
Rising gold prices boosted MoneyMax retail and trading.
MoneyMax Financial Services expects higher second half and full-year 2025 net profit, following a preliminary review of its unaudited results, the company said.
The improvement is mainly driven by stronger performance in its pawnbroking segment, supported by higher interest income.
MoneyMax also cited improved results from its retail and trading of gold and luxury items, as higher gold prices and increased sales volumes lifted revenue.
The company said it is still finalising its unaudited consolidated financial results for H22025 and FY2025.
Full details will be released when the results are announced on or before 1 March 2026.
MoneyMax advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares ahead of the results announcement.
