NetLink NBN hit by cybersecurity incident

The incident does not affect the company's fibre broadband connectivity.

Internet service provider NetLink NBN has been hit by a cybersecurity incident.

The company, however, clarified that the recent incident  "does not affect" its fibre broadband connectivity.

NetLink NBN has also assured stakeholders that it has taken steps to contain and isolate the incident.

"[We] have engaged external cybersecurity experts to assist with the investigation and recovery. The group also promptly notified the relevant regulatory authorities, namely, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and the Info-communications Media Development Authority," NetLink NBN said.

"Analysis of the incident is continuing to date, and further updates will be provided if there are any material developments," the company added.
