StarHub’s net profit soars 140.4% YoY to $149.6m in FY23

With a better bottom line, the company declared a final dividend of $0.042 per share.

StarHub ended FY23 with a 140.4% YoY higher net profit attributable to shareholders (NPAT) of $149.6m.

If StarHub excludes the $30.8m non-recurring provisions related to DARE+ taken in FY22 and a $1.2m reversal in FY23, the company’s NPAT would still increase by 76.5% YoY.

In FY23, the company also recorded a 5.5% YoY growth in its service revenue, reaching $1.99b.

With a better bottom line, StarHub declared a final dividend of $0.042 per share.

With the final dividend and interim dividend of $0.025 per share combined, StarHub’s total dividend to be distributed for FY23 was $0.067 per share, exceeding the guided “at least 5 cents.”
