ERP rates up $1 in 28 August to decongest traffic

ERP rates will be increased by $1 starting 28 August 2023.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said it will adjust the electronic road pricing (ERP) rates by $1 starting 28 August 2023 during a four-specified time period.

Four locations will experience a slight increase in their ERP rates.

From 9am to 9:30 am, PIE (Adam and Mount Pleasant) (Set of 2 Gantries) ERP rates will be from $0 to $1.

Westbound PIE before Eunos ERP rates will increase from $1 to $2 at 8:30 am to 9 am and from $0 to $1 at 9 am to 9:30 am.

From 8:30 am to 9 am, KPE (ECP) after Defu Flyover ERP rates will rise from $5 to $6.

LTA said the traffic built up at expressways in July 2023, prompting it to impose the inched-up rates. For other time slots, the previously announced gantries rates remain unchanged.

“With these adjustments, the number of locations and timeslots charged is still lower than the number charged pre COVID,” read the statement.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
