
SingPost appoints ex-Australia business exec as new group CFO
The appointment follows the dismissal of three executives over mishandled whistleblower reports.
Singapore Post (SingPost) has appointed Isaac Mah Ming Zhi as the new group chief financial officer (GCFO), effective 22 January.
In a bourse filing, the company said that the intention to appoint Mr Isaac Mah to the GCFO position is in accordance with SingPost’s succession plan.
“The board is pleased to advise that Isaac has taken up his appointment as group CFO. Given his experience and extensive knowledge of the group and its businesses, this appointment provides a seamless transition into the role in accordance with succession plans. As one of our new leaders, he will be engaged in charting the future direction of the group and its development.” Simon Israel, chairman of the board at SingPost, said.
Mah will be responsible for the overall financial matters of the SingPost Group including financial and management reporting, taxation, and investment management among others.
He was previously the CFO of SingPost’s Australia business, Freight Management Holdings.
