SingPost appoints former SGX and SIA Engineering executives as IDs

This is part of the company's ongoing board renewal process

Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) has announced the appointment of two new non-executive, independent directors, Chng Lay Chew and Ng Chin Hwee, to its board.

The move is part of the company's ongoing board renewal process to strengthen its governance framework

Ng has extensive experience in the aviation and engineering sectors, having served as chief executive officer and executive director of SIA Engineering Company Limited from April 2020 to September 2023. Prior to that, he was executive vice president for Human Resources and Operations at Singapore Airlines Limited from January 2008 to April 2020.

Meanwhile, Chng has significant financial and corporate experience, including his tenure as chief financial officer of Singapore Exchange Limited from December 2011 to September 2020.
