Small car COE premiums down to $51,106

Whilst goods vehicles dropped to $26,029.

The Land Transport Authority has received 8,144 bids at the end of the first open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) in May. Of these, 5,260 were successful.

COE premiums for three categories slumped, while the other two rose. Small car COE premiums were closed at $51,106, whilst goods vehicles were also priced lower at $26,029. Motorcycles premiums also went down a notch to $6,301.

For Category B cars, COE premiums jumped to $55,414. Open category premiums were at $55,000.
