ST Engineering secures $200m ISCS contract for SG Cross Island Line

The company will provide the system for 21 underground stations.

The Land Transport Authority awarded ST Engineering's Urban Solutions a $200m contract to provide an Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS) and Communications System for the Cross Island Line (CRL), Singapore's longest fully underground MRT line.

The company will deploy the ISCS and the Communications System for the 21 underground stations under CRL Phase 1 and 2 and the CRL-Punggol Extension.

The ISCS will enable real-time and centralised monitoring and control of electrical and mechanical subsystems along the CRL's 50-kilometre rail network.

The Communications System will manage and connect various systems in the train and stations, utilising the latest networking technologies to enable efficient system operations and maintenance.

ST Engineering said securing the $200m ISCS contract will expand Urban Solutions' global track record of 200 metro projects in over 50 cities.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
