Samudera Shipping Line appoints Ng Chee Keong as director

His appointment is in line with the company's board renewal process.

Samudera Shipping Line announced the appointment of Ng Chee Keong as independent non-executive director.

Mr Ng, 65, will also be a member of the Audit, Nominating and Remuneration Committees.

Mr Ng has held numerous senior management positions in the Port of Singapore Authority and retired from PSA International Pte Ltd in 2005 as President/CEO. Mr Ng has experience in terminal, marine and logistic businesses, including deputy chairman of Keppel Club and director of Centre of Maritime Studies (National University of Singapore), Mencast Holdings, Jurong Port, Jasper Investments, Jurong Port Jakarta Holding, Jurong Port Marunda Holding and PT Pelabuhan Tegar Indonesia from 2009 to present, according to a Samudera Shipping Line report.
