OSK-DMG said it remains positive on Sembcorp Industries (SCI) given its strong capacity expansion over the next three years and its EPS upside from potential new projects.

The assessment came as the firm announced it has commenced the commercial operations of its new S$154m multi-utilities center in Banyan district on Jurong Island.

The new multi-utilities center is SCI’s second such facility on Jurong Island and it enables the company to offer a broad range of energy, water and on-site logistics, said OSK-DMG.

Demand in Banyan district is currently supported by customers such as Jurong Aromatics Corporation, LANXESS, Evonik Industries, Asahi-Kasei and Zeon, the research firm added.
