SIA adds Lufthansa and SWISS flights in SME rewards programme

The partnership is part of the joint venture agreement signed in November 2015.

Businesses that are members of Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) HighFlyer Programme are now allowed to earn HighFlyer points through Lufthansa and SWISS operated flights that are ticketed by SIA on eligible sectors.

According to an announcement, the partnership is part of the joint venture agreement signed between the two airlines in November 2015, which aims to deepen connections of markets in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

The HighFlyer programme was designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) to allow them to earn five points for every $1 spent on tickets booked through SIA.

SIA senior vice president sales and marketing Campbell Wilson said, “We are constantly looking to reward our corporates when they fly with us, and we will continue to expand our choice of airline rewards for our HighFlyer members.”
