Two-way, all-purpose, quarantine-free flights will take off starting 26 May.

Cathay Pacific has announced flight schedules it will operate starting 26 May after the Hong Kong and Singapore governments confirmed the resumption of the air travel bubble (ATB).

Cathay Pacific’s ATB flights will operate as CX759 and CX734 using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The inaugural CX759 flight from Hong Kong will depart on 26 May, whilst the first CX734 flight from Singapore will depart on 27 May.

From 10 June, Cathay Pacific will operate daily return ATB flights (CX759 and CX 734) to Singapore.

The ATB arrangement was agreed in November last year, but was postponed due to the fourth wave of COVID-19 outbreak in Hong Kong. In light of this the two governments also added stringent measures for ATB travelers.

Moreover, Cathay Pacific also welcomed Hong Kong's decision to expand the Return2hk Scheme that enables Hong Kong residents arriving from Mainland China to enter the city without undergoing quarantine.

Cathay Pacific currently operates flights between Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xiamen and Hong Kong. It will add more routes in the coming months to enable Hong Kong residents to return more easily.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
