
Scoot to boost flight capacity in APAC
Scoot will add more flights to the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, and Taiwan.
Scoot, the low-cost carrier of Singapore Airlines (SIA), will increase flight frequencies and passenger capacity in the coming months to meet rising travel demand.
Starting 6 June, flights to Iloilo City will increase from two to four times weekly, whilst services to Cebu will rise from seven to 10 times weekly from 24 June. From 30 August, flights to Davao will increase to 12 times weekly, up from nine.
Flights to Perth will increase from 12 to 14 times weekly beginning 4 August, whilst services to Sydney will rise from 10 to 14 times weekly starting 5 October.
Scoot will also boost its flights to Koh Samui from 21 to 25 times weekly from 24 June. From 2 August, services to Taipei and Seoul (via Taipei) will increase from five times weekly to daily.
