SQ321 plane flies back to Singapore from Bangkok

52 passengers are still in Thailand.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) said the aircraft that operated flight SQ321 returned to the city-state on 26 May after it was forced to divert to Bangkok due to severe turbulence.

According to SIA, Boeing 777-300ER landed at 1:39 P.M.

Meanwhile, 52 passengers and one crew member who were on board SQ321 are still in Bangkok. This includes 41 individuals receiving medical treatment in a hospital, SIA said.

“Singapore Airlines has been in contact with passengers and crew members who were on SQ321, including those who are still in Bangkok,” the company said. “Where requested, we have facilitated travel to Bangkok for their families and loved ones.”

The airline assured it is fully cooperating with authorities investigating the incident.
