Tiger Airways flies its 20 millionth passenger

Ms Lock Sau Lai, a regular Tiger passenger, was returning to Singapore from Phuket with her family on 8 June on flight TR2153, when she was met with huge roars by the Tiger team.

She also received a SGD200 flight voucher from Stewart Adams, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore.

Adams said, “This is a significant milestone for Tiger Airways. We launched in 2004 with the promise to deliver the lowest fares possible. In August 2010, we welcomed our 15 millionth passenger, and in just 10 months, we’ve seen another five million Tiger passengers. Our ultra low fares have won over millions of savvy travellers just like Ms Lock and we’re confident that our low fares and exciting destinations will win over many more!”

In celebration of this key milestone, Tiger Airways will be offering consumers 20 per cent off flights to 20 destinations – including Chennai, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Hat Yai, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Krabi, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Macau, Manila (Clark), Manila (Naia), Penang, Perth, Phuket, Shenzhen, Taipei, Tiruchirapalli and Trivandrum.
