LTA taps Aurecon for engineering role on Tuas region industrial development

The study will support the sustainable development of the Tuas region.

Land Transport Authority (LTA) has appointed Aurecon to conduct engineering investigation studies within existing road networks at Tuas to cater for industrial developments.

Aurecon will study space optimisation of utility services within existing road networks for approximately 17.5 km to support the sustainable development of the Tuas region.

The study will also focus on planning and allocating space and routes for existing and new utilities, including telecommunications, power, gas, water, and sewer systems.

Aurecon will also prepare a feasibility study on how these utilities can be installed, maintained, and repaired efficiently with various construction methodologies.

A state-of-the-art 3D Geographic Information System (GIS) model will also be developed encompassing all utilities, roads, commuters, drainage, and other infrastructures.

“We are delighted to contribute towards the vital development of the Tuas area, serving as a pivotal force in Singapore’s relentless pursuit to maintain its eminent status as the world’s leading trade hub,” Jean-Marc Girard, Chief Operations Officer for Aurecon Asia said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
