Cynosure Lutronic wins at Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2026

XERF™ sets a new standard in non-invasive structural skin tightening with dual-frequency precision.

Cynosure Lutronic won Machine - Healthcare Technology in the Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for its XERF™ Structural Skin Tightening system. The award recognises the company’s contribution to non-invasive aesthetic treatments through innovative dual-frequency monopolar RF technology.

XERF™ is the world’s first multi-frequency monopolar RF system, combining 6.78 and 2 MHz to deliver controlled energy to multiple depths, selectively heating the fibrous septa for immediate and lasting skin tightening. Enhanced by Wave Fit™ pulse technology, integrated cooling, and real-time temperature monitoring, XERF provides a precise, effective and safe skin tightening treatment without needles, numbing, or downtime.

The system enables three-level depth control with ten energy levels, allowing practitioners to target shallow, mid, and deep tissue within a single session. Its patented Spider Pattern Effector ensures uniform RF energy distribution, reducing edge overheating and improving safety across larger treatment areas.

Real-Time Temperature Monitoring uses 5 sensors to monitor skin surface temperatures, and the Integrated Cryogen Delivery cooling protects the epidermis whilst enhancing patient comfort.

Clinical evidence shows XERF™ delivers collagen thickening, strengthening and shortening, and deep fascia response immediately after treatment. Unlike traditional monopolar RF systems XERF™ provides simultaneous lifting and tightening across multiple depths, addressing a long-standing clinical gap. Treatments are reported as warm and tolerable, requiring no numbing, which improves patient safety and clinic efficiency.

“We’re very pleased with the strong and accelerating success of XERF across the Asia-Pacific region. The response from our customers, many with deep expertise in monopolar radio frequency technologies, has been exceptional. Their feedback consistently points to XERF’s impressive performance, patient comfort, and clinical efficiency, which further strengthens XERF's position as the leading new standard for RF innovation,” said Shannon Wooldridge, Cynosure Lutronic’s APAC Marketing Director.

Launched first in South Korea in 2024, XERF™ quickly expanded across APAC, including Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, and Australia. Surpassing 1,000 installations, it became one of the fastest-growing non-invasive tightening systems globally. A dedicated Advisory and Pioneer Cohort supported standardised clinical protocols, education, and hands-on training, reinforcing XERF™’s leadership in the region.

Cynosure Lutronic further strengthened regional visibility by appointing Park Shin-Hye as XERF™ ambassador for the APAC region, combining medical credibility with regional influence.

The company also leveraged XERF™’s first anniversary to highlight its sustained platform growth across APAC, shifting from launch momentum to ongoing clinic adoption.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
