Golden Agri-Resources lauded at Singapore Business Review National Business Awards 2026 for unified HR platform

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) brought home the Singapore Business Review National Business Award 2026 in the Agriculture category for its recent milestone in implementing a unified HR platform across regional destination offices, bringing together local systems into a single source of workforce data.

The platform provides a solution for the complete HR lifecycle, covering standardised data structures and naming conventions, as well as processes from recruitment and onboarding to organisation management, time off administration, and employee data management. With this capability, leadership in Singapore can now access a clearer and more transparent view of reporting lines and workforce distribution for the integrated agribusiness across the region.

One of the most significant outcomes of the HR platform has been the standardisation of management levels and grade nomenclature. Through collaboration between HR, regional leadership, and system teams, management levels and grade structure have been successfully aligned with GAR’s unified global framework.

Besides enhanced organisational oversight, GAR’s platform has also improved operational efficiency and employee experience. Employees can now submit requests from their mobile devices, managers can approve immediately, and administrators can verify balances using system-calculated data with the new platform.

The system interface, help documentation, and training materials are also provided in Simplified Chinese to promote accessibility and ensure employees can easily understand and use the platform.

GAR’s successful implementation demonstrates its ability to execute complex regional system transformations whilst maintaining strong governance and global standards.

This initiative ultimately provides headquarters in Singapore with improved workforce visibility, stronger HR data governance, and a scalable foundation to support future regional digital transformation initiatives.
