Powering Asia Pacific’s green and digital future: Vena Group wins at Singapore Business Review National Business Awards 2026

Delivering measurable impact at scale through the integration of advanced technology, sustainable solutions, and community-driven initiatives.

Vena Group, a green solutions provider advancing the energy and digital infrastructure transition across Asia-Pacific, has been awarded the Energy category at the Singapore Business Review National Business Awards 2026, reflecting the scale of its regional footprint and the maturity of its cross-border operating model.

Headquartered in Singapore, the Group has developed into a platform for leadership and execution, with its C-suite and core functions spanning investment, finance, tax and treasury, human resources, communications, administration, IT, legal, corporate secretarial, compliance, and governance based in the city. This concentration of capabilities supports a coordinated approach across 11 markets, enabling the organisation to combine disciplined governance with the flexibility required to deliver projects across diverse regulatory and operating environments.

In parallel, Vena Group contributes to the broader ecosystems in which it operates, supporting community development, cultivating talent, advancing innovation, and enabling the region’s transition towards a more sustainable, low-carbon future.

Bridging energy and digital infrastructure across Asia-Pacific
Operating across 11 markets, Vena Group has built a portfolio that addresses the evolving relationship between energy generation and consumption. Through Vena Energy, its green energy arm, and Vena Nexus, its digital infrastructure platform launched in 2025, the Group is positioning itself at the intersection of two defining trends: decarbonisation and digitalisation.

Since 2018, Vena Energy’s operating, construction and contracted capacity has grown to over 8.6 gigawatts—sufficient to power approximately 8.7 million homes annually—whilst avoiding an estimated 10.7 million tonnes of carbon emissions each year. Amongst its developments is a project to export up to 400 MW of solar power from Indonesia’s Riau Islands to Singapore, alongside a large-scale hybrid renewable project capable of generating more than 2.6 terawatt-hours of green energy annually. Supported by battery storage, these initiatives are designed to enhance the reliability and dispatchability of green energy as demand for low-carbon power continues to rise.

The launch of Vena Nexus in mid-2025 reflects the increasing convergence of energy and digital infrastructure. As demand for artificial intelligence and hyperscale data centres grows, the Group is integrating green energy solutions into digital platforms, alongside capabilities in peak demand response and grid flexibility, aligning the expansion of the digital economy with the need for cleaner and more resilient power systems.

Driving impact beyond infrastructure
Alongside its core activities, Vena Group continues to invest in the communities where it operates. Over the past year, the Group has delivered more than 300 community programmes, reaching approximately 200,000 beneficiaries across the region.

In Indonesia, initiatives such as the Jeger Buana Lombok programme are empowering women to build sustainable livelihoods through small-scale enterprises. In the Philippines, the WASH Program has established 26 handwashing facilities, benefiting over 2,000 children by improving sanitation and addressing critical public health needs. Since 2023, the programme has reduced absenteeism by 50%, helping to foster healthier, more resilient communities.

Such efforts reflect a broader shift in infrastructure development, where long-term value is increasingly defined not only by economic returns but also by social and environmental outcomes.

Commenting on the recognition, Vena Group Chief Executive Officer Nitin Apte said, “At Vena Group, we have made our choice very clear. Our vision is to help build a world with no compromises—where economic progress and sustainability go hand in hand. Through strategic synergy across green energy, digital infrastructure and community engagement, we are accelerating measurable impact. We are not just building projects; we are engineering a greener future for Asia-Pacific and for generations to come.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
