YCH Group clinches Singapore Business Review National Business Award for multimodal logistics hub

Vietnam SuperPort® represents one of the most significant overseas infrastructure investments by a Singapore-headquartered logistics company.

Homegrown supply chain solutions provider YCH Group was recognised as the winner of the Supply Chain category at the Singapore Business Review National Business Awards 2026 for the success of its joint venture with one of Vietnam’s largest private conglomerates, T&T Group, in developing the 83-hectare logistics hub Vietnam SuperPort® in Phu Tho Province.

Vietnam SuperPort® serves as a multimodal inland gateway linking northern Vietnam to China, Laos, Cambodia, and other ASEAN markets. It is designed as a digitally enabled, sustainability-focused logistics ecosystem that aims to reduce logistics costs, speed up cargo movement, and help Vietnamese manufacturers and SMEs compete globally.

This infrastructure is backed by a committed investment of US$300m to reduce national logistics costs, improve cargo velocity, and enable Vietnamese manufacturers and SMEs to compete more effectively in global trade.

One of the hub’s key milestones in 2025 was the launch of the Off-Airport Cargo Terminal (OACT), which extends Noi Bai Airport’s airfreight capabilities inland, enabling bonded cargo clearance, reducing airport congestion, and enhancing supply chain efficiency. The OACT strengthens Vietnam’s airfreight capacity without requiring the construction of additional airport infrastructure, enhancing resilience and throughput at the national level.

Vietnam SuperPort® also integrates advanced digital and automation solutions in collaboration with Google and Kyndryl, including artificial intelligence (AI)-driven document authentication and security scanning to improve cargo compliance and operational accuracy. Technologies such as Autonomous Guided Vehicles and Autonomous Mobile Robots are also being introduced to enhance productivity and reduce manual dependency.

At the same time, the logistics hub has also developed and launched a fully operational Logistics Marketplace Platform in partnership with Vietnam Post, Techcombank, Visa, and Doxa Holdings International. The platform offers SMEs a complete digitalised order-to-payment workflow, integrating real-time shipment visibility, bonded warehousing, transport scheduling, and embedded financing solutions.

Vietnam SuperPort® is also targeting net-zero emissions by 2040 through renewable energy integration, AI-enabled energy optimisation, and blockchain-based carbon auditing.

“As a homegrown Singapore company, YCH Group is demonstrating how strategic infrastructure, technology, and sustainability can be exported as an integrated model. Vietnam SuperPort® strengthens regional connectivity, enhances trade resilience, and reinforces Singapore’s leadership in global supply chain innovation," said Dr Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort® and Head of Strategy, Sustainability and Communications at YCH Group.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
