49-room hotel in District 14 valued at up to $25m

Bidding is set to close on Friday, 1 November.

Real estate company Knight Frank Singapore launched the sale of Hotel Compass, a freehold hotel comprising a total of 49 rooms with a guiding price of $23m to $25m.

Hotel Compass is an eight-storey hotel with a site area of 436.90 sqm, or approximately 4,703 sqft.

Under its 2014 master plan, the site is zoned under commercial properties, with a gross plot ratio of 2.8 and a gross floor area of 1,486.4 sqm or approximately 16,000 sqft.

“There will be no additional buyer’s stamp duty and seller’s stamp duty payable for the commercial property, with both foreigners and companies eligible to purchase the asset. This presents a rare opportunity to acquire a standalone hotel and commercial building with high visibility from the main road,” says Sharon Lee, Knight Frank’s head of auction and sales.

The guide price for Compass Hotel is $23m to $25m, with the bidding is set to close on Friday, 1 November at 2pm.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
