APAC Realty buys $72.8m Toa Payoh property as HQ

The property will have training theatres, a premium VIP lounge, and more office spaces.

APAC Realty’s subsidiary real estate brokerage ERA bought a $72.8m commercial property in Toa Payoh owned by HC Home. The property will become the headquarters of ERA Asia Pacific, APAC Realty CEO Jack Chua announced.

The acquisition of the 4219.45 sqft (1,392 sqm) estate follows after APAC Realty’s purchase of HC Home’s total shares. The Toa Payoh property will serve as a permanent place for ERA’s agency operations including new office space for agents and improved training areas, APAC said in a statement.

“We are excited to be able to hold our regional meetings and providing training to ERA agents from across the Asia-Pacific region, including Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia at the new offices,” Chua said.

With a gross floor area of 44,358.08 sqft (4,121 sqm), the estate has a lettable floor area of 27,953.88 sqft (2,597 sqm). This includes retail, auditorium, and three floors of office space.

The realty firm is also looking into adding further facilities in the property, including two training theatres, a premium VIP lounge and more office spaces for their agents.
