CapitaLand codeveloped first kindergarten in Vietnam

The kindergarten provided education for 350 students aged five and below.

CapitaLand will co-develop its first kindergarten, CapitaLand Le Xa Hope Kindergarten in Vietnam which is its 28th school in its network in China and Vietnam.

According to an announcement, CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) contributed $215,000 to the construction and the enhancement of the school, alongside World Vision and the Tien Lu District government.

CapitaLand said the kindergarten is currently the largest school in the Le Xa commune. It provides education for 350 students aged five and below.

The company added amenities such as a courtyard, murals, playscape, and a sensory wall.

CapitaLand Vietnam CEO Chen Lian Pang commented, "Vietnam is a key growth market for CapitaLand and we remain committed to contributing to the country’s urbanisation journey."

Vietnam is CapitaLand’s third largest market for CapitaLand in Southeast Asia after Singapore and Malaysia, with $1b worth of gross assets under management in Vietnam as of 31 March 2018.
