Duxton Hill shophouses up for sale at $11m

The property has a combined land area of 2,161 square feet.

A pair of two-storey shophouses in Tanjong Pagar has been launched for sale at $11m, according to real estate management firm JLL.

Located within the Tanjong Pagar Conservation Area, 39 and 40 Duxton Road have a combined land area of 2,161 square feet and an estimated built-up area of 3,929 square feet. It is located near Tanjong Pagar MRT Station and the future Maxwell MRT Station, set to open in 2021.

The property is also in close proximity with high-end retail shops and restaurants, with new developments such as Tanjong Pagar Centre, the new Maxwell Chambers and Frasers Tower set to cement the locale as a lifestyle hub.

The firm noted that there will be no additional buyer’s stamp nor seller’s stamp duty payable for 39 and 40 Duxton Road, and that foreigners can purchase the property.

The expression of interest for the shophouses will end on November 6.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
