Three-storey Club Street shophouse up for sale

The 2,885 sqft property will be sold with existing tenancy.

A three-storey conservation shophouse with mezzanine at 93 Club Street has been launched for sale, an announcement by Cushman & Wakefield revealed.

The 999-year shophouse is situated within the heritage district of Chinatown-Telok Ayer in the Central Business District (CBD). Zoned “Commercial” under the Master Plan 2014, the property sits on a land area of about 800.8 sqft, and has an estimated floor area of about 2,885 sqft.

Club Street was historically a haven to a number of trade guilds and social clubs, such as the Chui Lan Teng Club, Ee Hoe Hean Club and the Chinese Weekly Entertainment Club, from which it acquired its namesake.

Foreigners are eligible to purchase the property, and Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty (ABSD) is not applicable. The property will be sold with existing tenancy.

The sale is being conducted through an expression of interest (EOI) exercise which closes on 11 June at 3 p.m.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
