Discover Singapore’s top 5 private investment sales in 3Q14

Commercial and hospitality dominated this quarter’s private investment sales.

A report by Savills reveals that the top 4 private investment sales in 3Q totalled around $3 billion in value.
Keppel Real Estate Investment Trust (K-REIT) leads the way with its purchase of a 33.3% stake in Marina Bay Financial Tower 3 in September, a stake priced at $1.248b.

Frasers Hospitality Trust follows a far second with its purchase of InterContinental Singapore in July for $497m.
Coming in at third place is Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (A-REIT) who bought Aperia in August for $458m.

Meanwhile, Sun Venture purchased Straits Trading Building in September for $450m.

Capping the list is Frasers Hospitality trust again with its purchase of Frasers Suites Singapore for an amount of $327m.
