Ho Bee Land posts $49.8m net profit in H1

Revenue for the period fell 23% to $177.7m.

Ho Bee Land Limited reported a net profit of $49.8m for the first half of 2025, up sharply from $8.8m in the same period last year.

Revenue for the period fell 23% to $177.7m, largely due to fewer settlements from development projects in Australia and the reclassification of Elementum as a joint venture.

Profit growth was driven by strong recurring rental income, higher joint venture contributions, and lower interest expenses.

The group’s Singapore and London commercial properties maintained over 95% occupancy. London assets recorded a fair value gain of $6.1m, reversing last year’s $11.2m loss.

Earnings per share rose to 7.50 cents from 1.33 cents, whilst net gearing remained stable at 0.63x.

Ho Bee Land also secured its first $460m Sustainability-Linked Loan for The Metropolis, supporting ESG goals and tenant well-being.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
